Welcome everyone to my first ever blog post! I am so happy you stopped by today after visiting Alex Syberia (she’s awesome) as it’s a very special day!! I am so honored to be part of my dear friend Rubeena’s Crafting Anniversary Blog Hop. Today we are celebrating 4 amazing years of her creativity, talent and gorgeous creations that she has shared with the rest of us over the past years.
I just want to take a moment to thank her for everything. It is because of her that I am crafting the way I am today. She inspires me on a daily basis, helps me when I have questions, encourages me to keep trying and lifts my spirit when I am down. Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is beautiful both inside and out and I am blessed to call her a true friend!
So to celebrate her today, there is an amazing blog hop going on (see full blog hop list below), and be sure to check out all the lovely ladies along with their beautiful creations. There are tons of giveaways so make sure to stop by each blog and leave a comment. For today’s special occasion I created 2 cards that I hope you all like!

My first card I knew I had to use the sentiment GRATEFUL from Honey Bee Stamps, because that is exactly what I am. I am truly grateful for our friendship that grew over this past year. I started with Paper Trey Ink Hawaiian Shores card stock for my base. I ink blended random rainbow colors using Distess Oxides on smooth bristol paper, which I adhered on my card base. I then die-cutted the Reverse Confetti Linked Circles Cover Panel in gold Simon Says Stamp mirrored card stock and glued that over my ink blended panel. For my florals, I used Honey Bee Stamps Cosmos and colored them with Kuretake Zig Clean Color markers and adhered using foam tape to add dimension. I used my leftover gold mirrored card stock for the “grateful” sentiment and attached with foam tape. I heat embossed “for your friendship” using Ranger embossing powder in gold. I love the vibrant colors and how this card looks, I hope you do to 🙂
For my second card, I used the Honey Bee Stamps BECAUSE stamp set. I started with black card stock for my base. I then die-cutted Simon Says Stamp 6×6 glitter card stock for my frame using Simon Says Stamp Frames die set and adhered to my card base using foam tape. The extra black panel that was leftover from the die cut, I used Gina K. background stamp Petite Flourish which I stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I used the same glitter card stock, die-cutted the sentiment and added to my front panel with foam tape. For the second part of the sentiment I heat embossed with Silver embossing powder and adhered with foam tape for added dimension.

As an appreciation of my own gratitude for all the love all of you have shown me on IG, and to celebrate Rubeena, I am personally sponsoring a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp to one lucky winner, so be sure to check the link below for giveaway details and updates.
The next stop is Zsoka Marko and I’m sure you already know how amazing she is!! She is a super talented crafter and her work is truly beautiful so make sure you go check her out!!
