Hello and happy Wednesday my friends! I’m so happy to back up on the MFT Blog today with a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge featuring the cutest cactus set – Let’s Stick Together from their latest release.

Happy Wednesday fellow crafters! I’m happy to be back this week to celebrate the fabulous new release as well as a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge for MFT Stamps!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Super excited today to be part of the fabulous new January release of MFT Stamps!! This release is full of hearts, love and everything in between just in time to get your Valentine’s Day cards ready!

Happy New Year’s everyone!! Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday! I am so happy to be part of My Favorite Things Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

For my second card I used the fabulous Stacey Yacula’s All Tucked In. This stamp set is simply the cutest with so many adorable images and sentiments. I had so much fun creating this card!!
I started out stamping my main image onto a sheet of Neenah White 110lb card stock and masking each additional image as I wanted it to appear some pieces were in front of the other. While all my images were still masked, I started on my floor by simply drawing slanted lines for perspective and shading loosely with various Copic Sketch Markers to give the appearance of wooden floor boards. I then did some ink blending to create the walls. Once the floor and walls were done, I removed the masking paper to start coloring my images.

I had so much fun coloring in the images with my Copic Sketch Markers and creating depth with shading since this is mostly a single layer card. I used the coordinating dies to die cut the picture frames and added some foam adhesive to give a little extra dimension. I heat embossed one of the coordinating sentiments from this set and adhered to my card panel using foam adhesive. I definitely tried some new techniques with this card and I am so happy with the way it turned out!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this release as much as I did!! Wishing you all a fabulous day!!
Make sure you stop by the MFT Blog to check out the rest of this amazing release and inspiration! Don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a $75 MFT Gift Voucher!

Happy Labor Day fellow crafters!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the extended weekend!! I have a fun interactive card to share today featuring the new Lawn Fawn Flippin’ Awesome Die. Hello fellow crafters!! After a little break I am trying to get back in the crafting game!! Now that my son started Kindergarten, I have the time to craft my little heart away! I started by just coloring some leaves from the beautiful Elegant Leaves stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps to get my creative juices flowing again and I knew I had to make a card with these beauties!! Because it’s always so hot down here in Florida, I feel myself missing the cooler fall weather, so at least I can make a card and dream about autumn.
