Hello fellow crafters!! After a little break I am trying to get back in the crafting game!! Now that my son started Kindergarten, I have the time to craft my little heart away! I started by just coloring some leaves from the beautiful Elegant Leaves stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps to get my creative juices flowing again and I knew I had to make a card with these beauties!! Because it’s always so hot down here in Florida, I feel myself missing the cooler fall weather, so at least I can make a card and dream about autumn.

I started off my card die cutting a rectangle out of a piece of white Neenah cardstock. I then die-cutted the middle part of the same piece with a smaller rectangle die. This created a nice frame. I wanted to focus on the smaller rectangle first as this was going to be my colored panel. I used the maple leaf from the Elegant Leaves stamp set and stamped using versamark embossing ink in various patterns. I also used masking tape to get a overlapping look. I heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
I colored my leaves using various copic markers:
- Y18
- YG03
- YR14
- YR16
- R08
- R14
- R27

I then inserted my colored panel back into the frame and added a piece of acetate (for viewing and protection purposes, this will be removed once I am done stamping) on top of just the center panel. I wanted to stamp the same leaves again in the same position but using the amazing Altenew Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink. This ink is seriously the most sparkly amazing gold ever!! It’s hard to see in the pictures but I promise you in person it’s amazingly blingy!! Now I have the continuation of the same patter of the leaves on my outer frame panel without getting the ink on top of my embossed colored leaves. I then removed the acetate sheet. I used the same smaller rectangle die and ran it through my die cutting machine with some white foam. I adhered the foam piece to my center panel so it gives it some dimension.

For my sentiments, I used from the same set and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I adhered the “Grateful” sentiment directly on top of my colored panel and then directly onto my frame using glue tape.

I hope this card gives you some fall vibes!! Wishing you a fabulous week and thanks for stopping by!!
