The Greeting Farm – Pumpkin Spice It Up

greetingfarm 1

Hello Everyone!! Today I am sharing a card by The Greeting Farm featuring the Pumpkin Spice It Up stamp set.  This is such a cute fall friend set I couldn’t wait to use.  I’m mailing this particular card out to a special friend!

I have a confession to make….I am the worst when it comes to mailing cards out! I know it’s terrible especially since I received some pretty spectacular cards from some special crafty friends!  So I really wanted to try and focus on making more cards to send to my crafty friends! I especially love this stamp set because it’s such a cute gesture!

I started off by die cutting a border frame using Paper Trey Ink Rectangle Border die out of lilac cardstock.  I then adhered to my card base using foam tape.  I set aside to work on my main panel that will sit inside the frame.  I used Distress Ink Oxides in Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac to ink blend my panel.  Once that was dry I used Altenew Warped Speed stencil and some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone and applied to my ink blended panel with a craft spatula.  I knew I wanted to leave a blank area at the bottom of my panel for the sentiment so I only applied the paste where I wanted my stamped image to sit over.  I then stamped the sentiment using VersaMark embossing ink and stamped on the bottom of my ink blended panel.  I heat embossed using white embossing powder.  I set aside to try as I stamped my image using black dye ink.  I then colored my stamped image using various Copic markers.  I added some more glimmer paste to her bow and dress for added detail.  I then used the snow marker for “whip cream” on top of the lattes.  I adhered my stamped image to my panel using foam tape in the center.  I then glued down my center panel to my card base.  I added some Pretty Pink Posh Pansy Purple jewels for some added glitz.  I used the bow from a Studio Katia frame die set and cut a bow using the same color as my card base.  I added to the corner of my card with a jewel in the middle.

My love! I absolutely love this card. The coloring is excellent specifically her hair! The bow, glitter lines and texture with the Latte foam really make this girl pop out at you and give it great depth. We’ll done!!
