LawnFawn – Winter Skies

Good Morning everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Today I am excited to share another Christmas theme card using LawnFawn Winter Skies stamp set. I absolutely adore this set!!

I couldn’t wait to use the set Winter Skies by LawnFawn I knew I had to make something as soon as I got it!! It is just too adorable! I started off by die cutting my snow hills using the LawnFawn Stitched Hillside Backdrop die and glitter cardstock. I then ran the same die through my die cutting machine using smooth Bristol paper so I had the center piece to use. On that center piece, I heat embossed snowflakes from the stamp set in random order using WOW Sparkling Snow embossing powder. I knew where I wanted the Santa sleigh on my panel so I also heat embossed with black embossing powder. Once I was done with embossing, I ink blended the center piece using distress ink oxides in Blueprint Sketch , Tumbled Glass , and Squeezed Lemonade which I then spritz with some water to give a “snow” effect. I then adhered my glitter hillside and ink blended panel to my card base. I set that aside as I stamped my images in black dye ink. I colored with various copic markers and used the coordinating dies which I ran through my die cutting machine. I added some “snow” at the bottom of the bears to make it appear they were sitting in actual snow using a Snow Marker. I then adhered to my panel using foam adhesive tape. For the sentiment I used LawnFawn Winter Scripty Sayings and stamped directly onto my glitter cardstock using a black dye ink. I did stamp at least 3 times to get a crisp solid image since it is a rough surface. The trees I used from the same die set Stitched Hillside Backdrop, and simply ran through my die cutting machine alternating glitter and mirrored cardstock. I adhered these to my panel in random placement. And finally I added a little red nose using Nuvo drops to the front reindeer because of course it’s Rudolph! lol
