Just Ducky & Cottontail Cutie Die-Namics MFT Guest Designer
Hello everyone and happy Friday!! I’m back today with another sneak peak for the upcoming My Favorite Things release happening on March 12th @ 10am EST. I hope you enjoyed everyone’s sneaks yesterday! They are all just amazing! Today I am showcasing the new Just Ducky Stamp set and coordinating dies also featuring the new Swing Interactive Die! This die is so fantastic and a must have!
I started off my card by first stenciling some clouds as my background using MFT Cloud Stencil with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Berrylicious. This stencil creates the perfect clouds and there is no wrong way to use it!
For my grass I used the MFT Grassy Edges Die-Namics and some green cardstock. I layered two pieces and added some foam adhesive to the top layer for some dimension. I used one of the coordinating sentiments from the new Just Ducky stamp set and heat embossed on the bottom of my grass using white embossing powder. I colored the ducks using various copic marker and ran through my die cutting machine with the coordinating dies.
Once I decided on placement, I adhered all but one of the ducks using foam adhesive. I had an idea for the new Interactive Swing Die (which is a must have!!) to use it “upside down” for the kite to move back and forth as to look like it was flying in the wind and clouds. To give the kite some weight to move easily back and forth, I adhered a tiny washer on the back. A penny but it was too big, but this works just as well. What I love about this Interactive Swing Die Set is that you also get a die that can either be used as “clouds” or a “tree top” so the possibilities are endless! I decided to use them as clouds and cut one piece out of white cardstock and another out of glitter cardstock. I layered the two pieces for a little bit more dimension. I also added some additional clouds from the same set and using foam tape adhered on top of my main cloud. I added some extra sparkle on the clouds and kite using a clear glitter marker. I also used some Nuvo glaze one the ice cream to give it a “wet” look.
I hope you enjoyed day 2 of sneaks and don’t forget to mark your calendars March 12th @ 10am EST to shop this amazing release!! Keep scrolling to see my second card featuring the Cottontail Cutie Die-namics! Make sure you stop by the MFT Blog and leave a comment for your chance to win a $75 prize!! Wishing you a fabulous weekend!! xoxox

Hello crafty friends! I am so happy to announce that I will guest designing with My Favorite Things Stamps this week for their upcoming release on March 12th! I am super excited to share with you two cards I created. The first one is showcasing the new Cottontail Cutie Die-Namics and I honestly fell in love with this die!
To start my card I used the new Ray of Light Stencil for my background. I ink blended using My Favorite Things Premium Dye Ink Cubes:
I then used Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer paste over my ink blended stencil. I love how this adds the perfect shimmer. For my bunny I used grey cardstock and simply ran through my die cutting machine. The fun part was putting the pieces together to see this adorable little bunny come to life! I added some shading around the edges to give some dimension. For his little cottontail I used a heat sensitive snow marker that once applied and heat set it puffs up. I also added a little purple bow for extra cuteness. My sentiment I used a sentiment from the upcoming release stamp set Best In Show (wait until you see how cute this stamp set is). I adhered my bunny and sentiment on top my stenciled panel using foam adhesive. To finish off my card I used the My Favorite Things Rectangle Scalloped Frames and their glitter cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed this cute little bunny as much as I did making it!! Mark your calendars for March 12th @ 10am EST to pick up this cute die-namics as well as all the other fabulous sets being released!! Thank you MFT for this opportunity to guest design!! Make sure you stop by the MFT Blog and leave a comment for your chance to win a $75 prize!! Have a fantastic day and make sure to stop by tomorrow for another sneak peak!! xoxox
