Hope everyone had a fabulous week! Today I am sharing a shaker card using non-traditional Christmas colors! This was fun to make!! Hope you like it!
I started off ink blending my panel using Distress Ink Oxides in Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass. I then used Nuvo Glitter Paste over a stencil directly on my ink blended panel. Once that was dried I used a circle die and ran it through my die cutting machine creatine a hole in the middle of my ink blended panel. I adhered a piece of acetate on the back of my ink blended panel and add foam around to create my shaker pocket. I added some glitter “light bulb” confetti and adhered the remaining circle of panel onto my card base. I then attached my card base to my panel now creating the shaker. For the sentiment I used a Merry Christmas die that I had and used white card stock. Because this die is so intricate, I used spray adhesive to attache on top of my panel and acetate sheet.
This card took me longer than anticipated and out of my comfort zone for traditional Christmas colors but I am happy with the way it turned out! Hope you enjoy it just as much! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
