Good morning fellow crafters and happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s October already! It’s officially fall season although I am all about spring flowers!  I am in love with this special Stamptember collaboration release with Simon Says Stamp and Clearly Besotted called Magnificent Magnolia.   

After being sick for over a week, I was excited to finally start feeling better and get in my craft room.  And I couldn’t wait to use this stamp set from the Stamptember release.

To start, I used the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Polka Background stamp for my back panel.  I stamped it with Simon Says Stamp Smoke Dye Ink on Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock and set aside.  I stamped my floral images and colored them with Copic Markers, BV01, BV02, and BV13.  I also colored some highlights with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. For the leaves, I used Copic Markers, G17, YG17, and YG23. Once they were all colored I used the coordinating dies and ran them through my die cutting machine.  I then adhered to my back panel using foam adhesive.

I stamped my sentiment from the same set using VersaMark Embossing Ink and heat embossed with InkOn3 Arctic White Fine Embossing Powder.  This was my first time trying these embossing powders, and they are AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend for your embossing needs and they come in a variety of basic shades as well.  I then attached my sentiment to my card panel using foam adhesive.  I added some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst Jewels for some accents.  Once everything was adhered to my back panel I then attached to my card base using foam adhesive tape.
