Sunny Studio Stamps – Pretty Pumpkins

SunnyStudio1

Good Morning everyone!! Today I am sharing a card I made using Sunny  Studio Stamps – Pretty Pumpkins.  It’s such a lovely stamp set and so easy to use, I couldn’t wait to use them! Lately I’ve been wishing for fall weather down here in sunny Florida, that I can’t stop making autumn themed cards!

I first started by ink blending with my distress oxides using Gathered Twigs, Ripe Persimmon, and Carved Pumpkin on smooth Bristol paper. After I did my ink blending, I used the Simon Says Stamp New Beginnings Stencil with Gathered Twigs on the side of my panel.  I then set the panel aside to dry.  Using Neenah card stock I proceeded to die cut the window frame using the Memory Box Grand Madison Window die.  I trimmed down my ink blended panel and glued down my window frame die cut on top.  For the sentiment, I use the Sunny Studio Stamp Beautiful Autumn set which I stamped in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. I then adhered to an orange piece of card stock using foam adhesive.

For my pumpkins I used the Sunny Studio Pretty Pumpkins and stamped 3 pumpkins using my Misti Stamp Tool.  Since this stamp set is a “layered stamp”, and there are 3 layers to each pumpkin, using the Misti Stamp Tool really helped. It was so easy and look at all the dimension and highlights you get with just 3 different shades of ink! Once I finished stamping my pumpkins I then used the coordinating dies and ran them through my die cutting machine.  I adhered my pumpkins in the corner of my window using foam adhesive to give some dimension.

I adhered my finished panel to a brown card base using foam tape. I added some sequins and twine for additional accents.  This was such an easy, clean, simple and fun card to make!! I just love how it came out and I hope you do to!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!!

My love… great card! The color is extremely vibrant and perfect for the Fall Season that you so desperately miss being here in the relentless Florida heat! The pure white window really shows great contrast and makes this card pop! Great work as always my love.

Windows in a card design always catch my eye and when the card features Fall colors and images, I am definitely hooked! 😊 Could you tell me what ink colors you used on the pumpkins? I love this SS stamp set but the layering intimidates me since I don’t have multiple shades of orange.
    Beautiful job, by the way!!

Aww thank you so much for the sweet comments! Don’t let them intimidate you!! They are so fun and easy to use! All you need is a light, medium, and dark of any shade you choose. I used Altenew Dye Inks in Sunkissed, Orange Cream, and Autumn Blaze.
